Neo Advertising expands in Asia with new office in Indonesia
Geneva, Switzerland, November 9th, 2009 – Neo Media Group, one of the leading DOOH (Digital-out-of-Home) Group in Europe, North America and Asia has accelerated its development plans in Asia with the opening of an office in Jakarta. The office will operate Neo Advertising’s first project in the country, the Mall of Indonesia, and also explore new opportunities for growth. Located in North Jakarta, The Mall of Indonesia (MOI) is a unique lifestyle entertainment Mall for families and urban middle class. Built on 17 Ha land and surrounded with 4500 apartments and shops, it makes the mall the largest Multi Complex Mall in Indonesia. 70 large LCD displays will be positioned in strategic areas making The Mall of Indonesia the best equipped Mall in the country. “This expansion follows the establishment of Neo Advertising China and confirms Neo Advertising’s commitment to the Asian region” said Christian Vaglio-Giors, CEO of Neo Media Group. “Neo Advertising is one of the first DOOH player to expand into Indonesia, an emerging market with strong growth potential, especially in the DOOH sector.” The opening of the office follows an Joint Venture agreement with Juara, a local creative agency, which was signed on the 4th of November. “By combining Neo advertising’s Digital-out-of-Home expertise and Juara local contacts and media knowledge, we are building a strong foundation for Neo Advertising success in Indonesia” said Bernaldi Pamuntjak, Managing Director Juara. Neo Advertising Indonesia will operate as an independent branch reporting directly to Neo Media Group Asia.
